We are proud to announce that Geoneon has signed a major contract to support the Pacific Community (SPC) as part of the Digital Earth Pacific (DEP) program—a groundbreaking initiative designed to harness satellite data and Earth observation tools to support sustainable development and climate resilience across the Pacific Islands.
This is a significant milestone for our team, and we are honoured to contribute to a project with such far-reaching potential.
The DEP program is being delivered through a collaborative partnership of global leaders in geospatial innovation:
Geoneon’s role focuses on data processing, modelling, and geospatial analysis, helping translate complex Earth observation data into practical insights that can inform policy, resource management, and disaster preparedness.
The Pacific Islands are among the most vulnerable regions to climate-related impacts, including rising sea levels, extreme weather events, and ecosystem degradation. Digital Earth Pacific aims to equip decision-makers with timely, high-quality environmental data to better manage these challenges and build long-term resilience.
This project reflects Geoneon’s mission to make climate risk visible and actionable, and we are excited to contribute our technical capabilities to such an important regional initiative.
We look forward to this partnership with D4D Insights, and working closely with SPC Sparkgeo, and Pacific Island governments as we move forward together.
Stay tuned for more updates as this incredible project unfolds.
